There Was A Serious Air Traffic Control System Failure In Poland

Warsaw's Frederic Chopin Airport was the first to announce this.

In Poland, due to a serious failure of the air traffic control system, it is said to be impossible to perform takeoffs of airplanes at some airports.

This is reported by RMF24 .

The first to report the failure was Warsaw's Frederic Chopin Airport.

"Due to a failure in the information systems of the Polish Air Traffic Agency (PAŻP) throughout the country, it is currently impossible for aircraft to take off. Landings are currently being carried out in accordance with procedures," the Warsaw airport said.

The information about the failure was later confirmed by a spokesman for the Polish Air Traffic Agency (PAŻP), Marcin Hadaj.

"There was a failure of the air traffic control system this morning; planes are landing, but some Polish airports have imposed restrictions on takeoffs," he said.
