On July 18, Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 282, which amended the regulation on military transport duty. The document expanded the list of vehicles that can be provided to the army during mobilization and in wartime, as well as clarified the range of responsible persons.

According to the updated regulation, published by the press service of the dictator, the military transport duty now also applies to those who own a vehicle under the contract of financial lease (leasing).

According to the document, "means of transportation" means not only cars, railroad trains and ships, but also:

small vessels;

unmanned vehicles (including unmanned aircraft systems);

motorcycles, quadricycles and quadricycles;

wheeled tractors, self-propelled road-building and lifting and transporting machines.

The provision of transport by state bodies and state organizations in wartime, according to the provision, is free of charge, while private organizations and citizens - with payment of their cost in the order determined by the Council of Ministers.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense is now empowered to determine the list of necessary spare parts, tools and inventory to ensure the operation of this transport, reported the press service of Lukashenko.

The military transport duty does not apply to diplomatic missions, international organizations, as well as foreign citizens and stateless persons.

The decree comes into force after its official publication.
