Kazakhstan To Send Military Personnel To Study In The UK

The Ministries of Defense of Kazakhstan and Great Britain signed a plan of military cooperation for 2025-2026. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakh defense ministry. The signing of the document took place in London during the official visit of the Kazakh delegation to the United Kingdom, writes The Moscow Times.

The representatives of the defense departments of the two countries discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation. One of the key areas of cooperation will be the study of Kazakhstani servicemen in British higher military educational institutions. In addition, the plan covers peacekeeping training and language training, informs the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.

In April 2024, the Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Great Britain signed an agreement on strategic partnership and cooperation. Then the head of the British Foreign Office announced the allocation of 50 million pounds sterling for the implementation of various projects in Central Asian countries for three years. He noted that this initiative is aimed at supporting economic sustainability, trade development and strengthening regional cooperation.
