Lithuanian MPs learn about the leader of the Belarusian resistance.

The Lithuanian Seimas opened a photo exhibition "The Road to Freedom" dedicated to the leader of the Belarusian resistance, political prisoner Nikola Statkevich. The exhibition, which opened on June 5, was organized by the Social Democratic Party of Lithuania, the first vice-speaker of the Seimas Juozas Olekas and the party "Narodnaya Gromada".

"Five years behind bars, almost three years - in complete isolation, without letters, without a lawyer, without contact with relatives. His fate became a symbol of courage, principle and loyalty to free Belarus.

This exhibition is not only a remembrance of pain and injustice. It is a voice of solidarity, a voice of memory. And the voice of hope.
