Trump Banned Citizens From 12 Countries From Entering The U.S. At Once

The full list has been published.

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning citizens of 12 countries from entering the country as part of the implementation of measures to combat terrorism and illegal migration.

The White House press office reports.

Citizens of Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen were banned.

The entry of citizens of Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela was also partially restricted.

"We will reinstate the travel ban for individual citizens, and we will not allow radical Islamic terrorists to enter our country, a decision that has already been upheld by the Supreme Court," Trump said.

According to the text of the ruling, among the key reasons for the restrictions are overstayed visas by citizens of different countries, the listing of certain states on the list of state sponsors of terrorism, the lack of a competent central authority to issue passports or other civilian documents and the like.

Exceptions will be made for people with dual citizenship, holders of Afghanistan special visas, diplomatic visas, UN or NATO visas, and athletes.
