As the correspondent of UNIAN reports, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this to journalists during a communication at ZOOM, commenting, in particular, on the successful operation to destroy Russia's strategic military aviation.

The head of state noted that Ukraine has been preparing a number of operations and has now already demonstrated its abilities, which show that the whole narrative of the Russians, which they spread in Europe, and in general everywhere, that they are safe, that they will win this war - does not work.

"They are not safe. I'm talking about military targets. Yesterday there were 40 targets - military targets, carriers that are hitting us or threatening to hit us. And which have taken many Ukrainian lives. I saw today the mood of the nine plus other countries - everyone believes that Ukraine has demonstrated once again that not everything depends on the number of people that Russia does not spare and kills. Its own people, its own citizens," Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president emphasized that Ukraine had previously conducted another "strong operation" but was not as noticed as "Spider's Web".

"These are different level of operations. This one (on military airfields) is historic. And before that there was an operation - simultaneously 400 drones simultaneously hit military equipment and there were more than 40 types of different equipment: artillery, air defense, armored vehicles, tanks were destroyed in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. This is a different operation. Also drone, but of a different nature and a different level," - said Zelensky.

He emphasized that these are operations exactly on military targets in the territory of the Russians, in the temporarily occupied territories from where the strikes on Ukraine are coming.

So, as Zelensky said, Ukraine is saying that we "are not going to surrender and we are not going to go to any ultimatums, but we do not want to fight."

"We do not want to demonstrate our strength, but we do, because the enemy does not want to stop. And we demonstrate it fairly, on military targets. And we also demonstrate not only to Russian aggressors, but to all those allies of ours who were strong allies but started to doubt. The trust of Ukrainians and faith in Ukraine has returned. I believe that the result of the operation is very good," the President commented.

He noted that Ukraine proves that everything depends not on the number of troops, but on the will, on values, on technology and on the help of partners, whose unity is very important.

"Yesterday Ukraine conducted the operation independently. But we have constantly emphasized that we have several operations, but we do not have enough equipment, we are asking for internal funding," Zelensky added.
