A local insurgency claimed responsibility.
On the night of June 26 in Nazran, Ingushetia's largest city, an explosion occurred at the entrance to the police college building.
As Astra reports, a small capacity homemade explosive went off, presumably detonating prematurely.
According to preliminary data, no one was injured in the explosion, but the building of the educational institution was damaged.
Social networks have already published photos and videos from the scene, which show broken glass and damaged facade.

The Armed Forces of Galgaiche, an underground organization that opposes Putin's regime and Russian control in the region, later claimed responsibility for the attack, according to Militarny.
In their statement, they said the target of the strike was a building where future members of Russia's security forces, particularly the Interior Ministry, Rosgvardia and other agencies, are trained.
"Since its opening in 2023, this college has become a training center for future punishers who learn to suppress the freedom of their own people under the guise of 'education.' With Allah's permission, we will not allow our sons to be turned into traitors," reads a message posted on social media on behalf of the underground's General Staff.
The underground also stressed that when preparing the operation, they took into account the proximity of the facility to civilian infrastructure, so it was decided to use a low-power explosive device to minimize possible damage and exclude civilian casualties.
Russian authorities and local security agencies have not yet officially commented on the incident.
