Belavia Flights On A Popular Route Became Three Hours Shorter

Belavia Flights On A Popular Route Became Three Hours Shorter

The company declined to tech land.

"Belavia has started to perform flights to Dubai without technical landing - now they spend three hours less on the way, the airline reported.

"Due to the opening of new sections of airspace of the countries, through which the route from Minsk to the UAE passes, Belavia was able to abandon technical landing," said the carrier.

Now the flight Minsk - Dubai - Minsk is carried out by a "safe and shorter route": the flight takes 6 hours and 30 minutes.

Reminder, after Iran closed the sky because of the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, the airline did not give up flights to Dubai, but until recently it performed them in overflight and with a technical landing in Tashkent for refueling. The travel time was 9 hours and 30 minutes.

The next flight Minsk - Dubai is scheduled for Sunday, June 29.
