Trzaskowski Congratulated Nowrocki On His Victory In The Polish Presidential Election

The Civic Coalition candidate thanked those who voted for him.

Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, who ran for Poland's presidency from the ruling Civic Platform party, commented for the first time on his defeat in X.

Trzaskowski thanked for every vote that Polish citizens cast for him, and congratulated his rival Karol Nowrocki on his victory.

"I fought for us to build a Poland together - strong, safe, honest, empathetic. A modern Poland in which everyone can realize their goals and aspirations. Thank you to everyone who voted for such a Poland," he wrote.

"I congratulate Karol Nawrocki on his victory in the presidential election. This victory is binding, especially in such difficult times. Especially with such a tied score. Remember this," he summarized.

After counting ballots from 100% of polling stations, Navrotsky won 50.89% of the vote, while Trzaskowski won 49.11%.
