MiG-29 Crushing Blow: The AFU Aviation Blew Up Russian Positions Near Belgorod

The attack was carried out by two French AASM Hammer guided bombs.

Ukrainian tactical aviation continues to actively use precision weapons against Russian troops' positions. Another strike was carried out on a cluster of enemy troops in the village of Kozinka, Belgorod Region.

The attack was carried out by a MiG-29 fighter jet armed with two French AASM Hammer guided bombs, Telegram channel "Sonyashnik" reported.

The released video captures the moment the ammunition penetrates the roof of the building and detonates inside, completely destroying the fortified shelter with the personnel inside.

According to the WarArchive project, the impact hit a building in the central part of the village: 50.462630; 35.591975.

AASM Hammer: an effective weapon

French AASM (Armement Air-Sol Modulaire) modernization kits, also known as Hammer, are designed to turn standard aerial bombs into precision long-range weapons. Unlike the American JDAM, the French version includes a solid-fuel booster, which significantly increases the range of flight - up to 15 km at low drop and up to 70 km at drop from altitude.

The following modifications are used in particular:

Hammer-250 - for 227-kg Mk.82 bombs

Hammer-1000 - for 908-kg Mk.84 bombs.
