US Moves Another Aircraft Carrier To Israel's Shores

The United States plans to deploy an aircraft carrier group led by the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford near the coast of Israel in the near future. This will be the third aircraft carrier group that Washington will deploy near the war zone between Israel and Iran.

The war between Iran and Israel, however, has forced a significant acceleration of the aircraft carrier group's deployment. The Pentagon was also forced to change the group's deployment, placing it closer to the coast of Israel.

At the same time, according to the publication, another aircraft carrier strike group of the U.S. Navy with the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz is now heading to the Middle East. It will either replace or reinforce the aircraft carrier group led by the USS Carl Vinson, which is now in the waters of the Red Sea, guarding shipping from new possible attacks by the pro-Iranian Houthi militia in Yemen.
