U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem has been emergency hospitalized.
According to The Hill.
On Tuesday, June 17, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was taken to the hospital after suffering an acute allergic reaction.
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said Noem's condition is now stable, she is conscious and recovering.
"Secretary Noem had an allergic reaction today. She was taken to the hospital for safety reasons. She is conscious and recovering," McLaughlin stated.
It is known that the politician was hospitalized in Washington, DC. Noem was conscious during transportation and was communicating with security as well as medical staff at the hospital on her own.
The circumstances of the allergic reaction have not yet been clarified.
