NATO Aircraft Intercepted Russian "spies" Over The Baltic Sea

RAF Typhoon took off from a Polish airbase.
The North Atlantic Alliance air force intercepted Russian Il-20M and An-30 aircraft near the Baltic Sea.
The NATO Air Force Joint Command reports this in microblog X. The planes were intercepted by British RAF Typhoon fighter jets, which are carrying out the Alliance's enhanced airspace patrol mission in Poland.
"This is a cornerstone of the Alliance's commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of the airspace," the statement said.
The British Royal Air Force said in a statement that on June 5, two Typhoons took off from the 22 tactical airbase in Malbork to intercept an unknown aircraft that was leaving Kaliningrad airspace. It turned out to be a Russian An-30, intended for aerial photography.
Afterward, a pair of fighters was tasked to intercept another aircraft in the same area, it was an Il-20M, a Soviet electronic reconnaissance aircraft. The aircraft did not make contact, nor did it signal or file a flight plan:
