An operation of this scale is unparalleled in the world.
For the first time in world history, the main forces of strategic aviation - carriers of nuclear weapons - were defeated right at their bases by a group drone strike. The outstanding sabotage operation of the Ukrainian Security Service will go down in all military history books, as this defeat of Russia is one of the most costly in terms of consequences and the cost of losses, seriously reducing the number of strategic nuclear forces of the Russian Federation.
At the moment, according to our sources, 41 aircraft of strategic and military transport aviation of the Russian Armed Forces were hit at four bases. Part of the drones attacked with auto-tracking of targets, the results of their strikes will be determined with the help of satellite images.
A group of SBU agents imported 150 small attack drones and 300 ammunition into the territory of the Russian Federation.
116 drones were taken into the air.
The drones were controlled via Russian telecommunication networks with the use of auto-escort.
Few mobile launch points on Russian territory were located near Russian strategic aviation bases.
The drones were attacked at close range during the day - deep behind enemy lines. The air bases were covered by significant air defense forces - surface-to-air missile systems, REB systems, and on-duty patrols with small arms. But the Russians expected nighttime strikes by heavy large attack drones, highly visible in the air, and did not expect attacks by small quadrocopters during the day.
The attack on the Tu-95 strategic missile base at the Olenya base was particularly successful - the drones accurately hit the fuel tanks, and a significant number of planes burned to the ground.
Operation of such a scale and with such a colossal economic and military effect, at such a high technological level has no analogues in the world.
It is very important that the SBU agents successfully returned to Ukraine. Ukraine suffered no losses.
Consequences:
Billions of dollars worth of military equipment destroyed;
Destroyed strategic aircraft that Russia does not produce;
Enemy strike capabilities weakened, as these aircraft were an important component of the constant terrorist attacks on Ukrainian cities;
Enemy will have to spend huge amounts of money to strengthen the defense of their bases and facilities.
Yes, one should be awarded the highest state honor for such achievements. Is it possible to award the second star of Hero of Ukraine to the leaders of the SBU?
Heroes who directly carried out a dangerous mission and returned with victory certainly deserve it.
