Britain's Defense Secretary Has Sent A Message To Moscow

London is ready to fight.

Britain's defense review will send a "message to Moscow" about the country's readiness to fight if necessary. This was announced by Britain's Defense Secretary John Gillie in an interview with BBC.

The announcement came after the country's government announced it would spend £1.5 billion to build at least six new defense plants and create 1,800 jobs across the UK.

The BBC stressed that the strategic defense review, to be released on Monday, will conclude that Britain is facing a "new era of threats" and will be alerted to "immediate and urgent" danger from Russian Federation and other countries, including China.

Geely said the review will identify "major new investments in our national security" and send a strong message to enemy countries.

The defense secretary, during his visit to the Stevenage plant where Storm Shadow missiles are assembled, also said the government would support the purchase of up to seven thousand domestically produced long-range weapons.

The Ministry of Defence added that the new funding would bring Britain's spending on munitions to £6 billion.
