The Labor Market In Belarus Is Feverish

The number of vacancies in the labor market continues to grow in Belarus. The number of those registered in employment centers has also increased. Thus, May 31, 209284 workers are required in the country as a whole. So many offers from employers are placed in the national job bank.

This is another record, notes "Zerkalo". For comparison: April 26, almost 202 thousand offers from employers were placed in the all-republican bank of vacancies.

As the Ministry of Labor specifies, most of all workers are needed - 67.8% of the total number of vacancies.

The number of unemployed has also increased. On May 1, there were 3.6 thousand people registered in employment centers in Belarus. The growth since the beginning of the year amounted to a thousand people.

According to the National Statistics Committee, the actual unemployment, calculated according to the methodology of the International Labor Organization, amounted to 3%, or 150.4 thousand people in the fourth quarter of last year.
