Communal Services Become More Expensive In Belarus

In Belarus, June 1, 2025, utility services will become more expensive, writes tochka.by.

According to official data, in 2025, the share of housing and utility costs in the income of a family of three (with two working people with salaries at the level of the national average) will amount to 3.8%, while for a family of two pensioners - 8.3%.

In January 2025, the state raised all tariffs for housing and utility services (by Br17.05), except for heating and hot water supply. And from June, Belarusians will pay more for heat energy, which is used for heating and hot water supply (by Br3.95).

Since the beginning of summer, the subsidized tariff for heat energy for heating and water heating will rise to Br27.2323 per 1 Gcal.

This is an increase of 10.2% (now the tariff is Br24.7187 per 1 Gcal). Belarusians will receive vouchers with updated tariffs for June in July.

That is, the total price of vouchers will increase by no more than 0.5 basic units per year, according to the plan (currently - Br21).
