Ukraine Has Had Great Success In Attacking Azot Chemical Plant In Russian Federation

Ukrainian defense forces continue to attack military and industrial facilities in the Russian Federation involved in the aggression against Ukraine. As a result of a Ukrainian drone raid on the Azot chemical plant in Novomoskovsk, Tula Region, key production units were damaged, leading to a large-scale technological accident, writes "Dialogue".

The corresponding information is reported by employees of this enterprise, writes the Telegram channel Exilenova+.

According to the incoming information, the following facilities were damaged:

- control and monitoring center No. 1 (CMC-1) - automated control systems were disrupted;

- units No. 2 and No. 3 involved in the main stages of chemical synthesis (they were urgently stopped after the explosion);

- the water circulation cycle of VOC-22, which is responsible for cooling of the production equipment (fire was detected);

- Ammonia-4 shop, which produces strategically important ammonia for fertilizer production (put out of operation);

- urea production lines (completely stopped).

The entire plant was put into emergency mode due to the attack. The strike caused serious damage to the production chain of ammonia and its derivatives.

In the meantime, satellite images confirmed that a production hall at the Energia plant, located in the town of Elets, Lipetsk region, was hit.

The first hit on the plant occurred on the night of May 22-23, 2025. That's when a group of about a dozen long-range drones attacked the production facility.

According to eyewitnesses, at least a few drones reached their target. Footage posted by locals showed that the factory building was damaged.

On the night of May 23-24, attack drones attacked the facility again.
