AFU Drones Attacked A "fat Target" Near Lipetsk: Details Emerged

The products of this plant are used for the production of Daggers and Iskanders.
The Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of the Energia plant in the town of Yelets in the Lipetsk region of Russia.
Andrey Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, noted that an "important plant" of the Russian military-industrial complex was attacked. This plant produces:
batteries and batteries: for unmanned aerial vehicles, aviation, navy, radio engineering;
lithium-ion and mercury-zinc cells used in communication, control systems, electronic warfare (EW) and simulators for tanks and missile systems;
electrochemical capacitors: used for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation;
light-optical power plants: provide autonomous power supply without laying power lines.
"Energia" is a supplier of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, and also cooperates with other state structures, such as Roscosmos, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Federal Security Service, Ministry of Emergency Situations and Gazprom. The plant's products are used in communication, control, REB, UAV systems, as well as in the production of Iskander and Kinzhal missiles," Kovalenko noted.
The plant is under sanctions by the EU, the US, Japan and other countries because of its importance to the Russian military-industrial complex. However, it has continued to operate. As the head of the CPD noted, as of now, the plant is suspending operations after the attack.
