70% of India's power grid has been knocked out.
A blackout has been reported in several states in India. Pakistani authorities claim to have knocked out most of India's power grid through cyberattacks.
This is reported by Geo TV channel, The Indian Express and The Times of India.
Security sources say Pakistan has knocked out 70% of India's power grid due to a cyberattack.
At the same time, Indian residents were earlier warned about possible hacker attacks.
Two districts in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir have completely cut power amid tensions with Pakistan. A similar blackout has been imposed in the city of Jalandhar amid UAV sightings in the air.
The clashes between the two nuclear powers have been ongoing since Wednesday and are estimated to be the most serious in nearly 30 years. The two sides regularly exchange shelling amid a long-running territorial conflict over the Kashmir region.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, a spokesman for Pakistan's armed forces, said India used aircraft to launch air-to-ground missiles at Noor Khan, Murid and Shorkot bases. It is noted that one of the air bases is located in the city of Rawalpindi, near Islamabad, while the other two are in Punjab province, which borders India.
Chaudhry said that only a few missiles managed to bypass air defense systems, and according to a preliminary assessment, they did not hit any targets.
According to estimates that have not yet been independently verified, at least 48 people on both sides of the border have been killed since the escalation began.
Reminder that fighting between India and Pakistan is intensifying intensely.
This night, the Indian army struck several Pakistani military bases with missiles. Fires broke out at the site of the incoming attacks.
In response, Pakistan launched a massive military operation against India.
