Trump: We Want To Stop Russia

The US President said that he does not like the bombings.

US President Donald Trump said that the US continues to make efforts for a peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian war and supports dialogue with Russia. He said this during an interaction with journalists on board of Air Force One on 6 April, reports the Associated Press.

‘We are talking to Russia. We want to stop it. I don't like the bombings, they're happening over and over again. Thousands of young people are being killed every week,’ Trump said.

He has traditionally emphasised that this ‘terrible thing’ would never have happened if he were president.
