As a result of an enemy strike on the Dnipro on the evening of March 28, there are dead and many injured, six more people were wounded. Rescuers, doctors and law enforcement officers are working at the scene.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.
As the official noted at 23:11, according to preliminary information, the city knew about a person killed due to a Russian air attack using attack drones.
In addition, he said, six more people were injured, and among them is a 27-year-old pregnant woman.


“She has a stab wound. Two of the wounded are in serious condition. They are a 69-year-old man and woman,” the head of the regional military administration said.
According to Lysak, all services “are on the ground — emergency services, doctors, police, and utility workers.”
“In communication with the city to eliminate the consequences of the Russians’ crimes,” he added.
The head of the regional military administration also published a photo of the aftermath of the enemy drone attack on the Dnipro this evening.


Updated: the number of victims and wounded has increased
Later, the head of the regional military administration said that in Dnieper, four people were already known to have died due to the Russian air attack. The official also added that the number of injured people is increasing, and at the moment there are 15.
“Of them, three are in serious condition. Four locals will recover from what they experienced at home. The others remain in the hospital,” Lysak said.
He also said that the Russians sent more than two dozen drones to the city — most of them were shot down.

At 00:22, the head of the regional military administration said that the number of wounded in Dnipro has increased to 19 people.
According to Lysak, the following were caused by the drone attack in Dnipro in the evening:
Several multi-story buildings were damaged,
Fires broke out in almost a dozen private homes,
Garages and service stations caught fire.
“The rescuers managed to localize the fire in the hotel and restaurant complex,” the official said.
Updated: Russians were targeting purely civilian objects
As the first deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Yuriy Yandulsky said in a commentary to Suspilne Dnipro, the targets of the Russian attack were purely civilian objects in Dnipro. Namely:
A restaurant complex,
Residential buildings,
A multi-story building.
He added that a search and rescue operation is ongoing in Dnipro.

At almost 1 am, the National Police clarified the consequences of the massive drone attack on Dnipro, and showed more photos of the consequences.
“In the evening of March 28, the enemy attacked the city again. As a result of the drone attack, residential areas and cars were damaged, and a multi-story building caught fire. A large-scale fire also broke out in a restaurant complex,” the National Police said.
As of 00:30, 4 people were killed and 19 injured, the police reported, adding that all emergency services were operating at the sites of the strikes. The police are documenting the consequences of the massive attack by Russian drones on Dnipro.
In addition, law enforcement agencies are asking local residents to be careful — there may be debris from downed enemy UAVs on the streets.
