Secret documents have been seized.
The reconnaissance group of the 225th separate assault regiment of the AFU has conducted a successful operation, eliminating a Russian officer - Major Yuri Lomkin, deputy battalion commander of the 83rd motorised rifle regiment (m/u 52034) of the 69th Guards Motorised Rifle Division.
As reported on the regiment's official page on Telegram, the operation was successful, and along with eliminating the enemy officer, the Ukrainian defenders received important documents that will help in further strikes against the enemy.

The date and place of the operation are not disclosed, however, considering the zone of responsibility of the 225th regiment, the liquidation could have taken place in the direction of Kursk region.
According to intelligence, Major Yuri Lomkin, born in 1975, was 50 years old at the time of the liquidation. They found his passport, military card, driving licence and other documents indicating a connection with St. Petersburg and Leningrad region.
‘A cadre officer who did nothing useful during his lifetime, yet after his death turned out to be very useful to us - he brought information about his co-workers. Soon there will be good news,’ said the regiment.
The operation was another confirmation of professionalism and accuracy of Ukrainian intelligence. The new data is already being analysed, which will allow even more precise strikes against the Russian occupiers.
