Prisoners Transferred From Colony In Vitsba

New prisoners are not being brought to the colony.

The industrial zone of Correctional Colony No. 3 (IK-3) in Vitba will be partially closed and reorganized. Due to this, around 15% of inmates will be relocated to other colonies by the end of April, according to the Telegram channel MAYDAY.TEAM.

Human rights activists report that groups of 10 prisoners have already been transferred from some units to other colonies with a similar regime. At the same time, no new inmates are being brought to the facility.

In December last year, human rights organizations reported that wood processing production at IK-3 might be completely shut down.
