Starmer Warns Britain Against Making a Grave Mistake, Referencing Churchill

The Prime Minister of Britain agreed with Trump on Europe's defense.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has warned that the UK should not choose between Europe and the United States, as doing so would be a major mistake for the country.

In an interview with The New York Times, Starmer stated:

"Many people are urging us to choose between the US and Europe. Churchill didn’t do it. Attlee didn’t do it. In my view, it would be a grave mistake to make that choice now."

At the same time, the British Prime Minister agreed with US President Donald Trump on the defence of Europe.

"I believe President Trump is right when he says European countries should shoulder more of the burden for Europe’s collective defence," Starmer said.
