Only One Private Kindergarten Left In Belarus

The head of the Ministry of Education said that non-governmental institutions “violate sanitary norms”.
There is only one private kindergarten left in Belarus. This was stated by the Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets in an interview with state media.
He mentioned the kindergarten “Yeliseyevy Polya” in the village of Sennitsa in the Minsk region, and added that about 40 children attend it.
The official said that private providers violate sanitary norms and endanger the lives and safety of children. That is why they are being fought.
The state has been actively fighting private education for the past few years.
