The Kremlin claims otherwise.
Yesterday, 18 March, US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation, particularly regarding the end of the war in Ukraine. However, the American president denies that Putin demanded to stop aid to Ukraine during these talks.
This is reported by Fox News.
During the conversation, the host reminded of the first Kremlin reports, which followed the conversation between Trump and Putin. In particular, Russian information resources wrote that during the telephone conversation, the Russian dictator demanded to stop aid to Ukraine for the duration of the ceasefire. In particular, this is allegedly a condition for a ceasefire. However, Donald Trump stated that there was no such thing.
‘No, we didn't talk about aid, actually. We didn't talk about aid at all. We talked about a lot of things, but we never discussed aid,’ Trump said.
He also noted that their conversation was great and lasted almost 2 hours.
