Russian Media Report Evacuations From Settlements In Russian Belgorod Region

Pro-Russian bloggers have written that Ukrainian troops attempted to break through the border in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district of Belgorod region. The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, stated that the situation in the border area is difficult. According to local Telegram channels, authorities are evacuating settlements near the border, reports The Insider.

According to pro-Russian Telegram channels, Ukrainian troops attempted to cross the border near the settlements of Grafovka and Demidovka, located near the border with Kursk region. This is reported by "Archangel of the Special Forces," Alex Parker Returns, "Zapiski Veterana," and war correspondent Yuri Kotyonok.

The Telegram channel "Archangel of the Special Forces" claims that the Ukrainian forces failed to break through the defense. Governor Gladkov reported that the Krasnoyaruzhsky district was shelled. He called the situation in the border area difficult.

Local media and Telegram channels also report that authorities have started evacuating from border settlements. "Belgorod - Molniya," in particular, reports that residents of Ilek-Penkovka and Terebreno are being evacuated; according to the "Pepel" channel, the village of Grafovka is also being evacuated. The Telegram channel "Bletgorod" claims that authorities have closed the entrance to the district center of Krasnaya Yaruga: "According to our information, all cars are being turned around and sent back. It is still possible to leave the village."
