Berbok Rejected Territorial Concessions From Ukraine

Aggressive wars should be condemned, not encouraged.

President of the UN General Assembly and former German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock has rejected any territorial concessions from Ukraine for the sake of peace. Her words are quoted by the n-tv television channel, citing an interview with the Funke Media Group.

She said that wars of aggression should be condemned, not encouraged. Those who encourage aggression "will reap new wars," Berbock argued.

The former German foreign minister pointed out that it would be tantamount to permissiveness "if we agree that a member of the UN Security Council violates the most important rule of the United Nations," referring to Russia's actions.
