Budanov: We Are Bugging High-ranking People In The Kremlin

The head of the GUR confirmed such capabilities of Ukrainian intelligence.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, has said that Ukrainian military intelligence has the ability to listen in on conversations of high-ranking Kremlin officials.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine.

Budanov briefly confirmed the GUR's abilities during a conversation with an RBC-Ukraine correspondent.

"We can, yes. We get money for this," he said.

The comment came against the background of publications in a number of Western media, where a version appeared that it was Ukraine that could have passed to journalists recordings of conversations between Putin's adviser Yuri Ushakov and envoy Kirill Dmitriev.
