Belarus Has Introduced Innovations In The Calculation Of Payments For Home Heating

The changes went into effect on November 30 of this year.

The Ministry of Housing and Utilities has approved a new procedure for calculations for heating in apartment buildings. This is reported by the portal of communal literacy of the population. The changes have been in effect since November 30 this year.

The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services has more clearly specified how the payment for heating is calculated, if:

the apartments have heat distributors or individual meters,

and the total heat consumption of the building is determined by the group meter - the common meter.

Previously, such an order was described less formally and was often applied differently in different regions. Now they have established uniform conditions for all apartment buildings:

how the total amount of heat energy is distributed between apartments,

how the difference between the readings of distributors/individual meters and the communal meter is taken into account,

what data is used to calculate the payment.

Reminder, earlier on October 1, Belarus introduced changes in the calculation and payment for housing and communal services. They affected, among other things, payment for electricity, as well as the form of vouchers. There were also innovations for "deadbeats.
