AFU Commander-in-chief Names The Number Of Deployed Russian Troops

They are trying to advance along the entire front line.

More than 710,000 Russian occupants are deployed along the front line (more than 1,250 kilometers) in the war of the aggressor country Russia against Ukraine. This was reported by AFU chief Alexander Syrsky in an interview with Sky News published on December 5.

He said that the Russian side loses about 1,000-1,100 military personnel per day killed or wounded, and "most of them are killed."

"At this stage, the Russian army is trying to advance almost along the entire front line," Syrsky said.

He said Ukraine's defense forces still control the northern part of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region and will continue to fight to regain control of the rest of the city, contrary to Moscow's claims of allegedly capturing it.

Syrsky noted that Russia still has twice as many artillery shells as Ukraine, but the range and lethality of drones make it difficult to use artillery effectively. Currently, 60 percent of strikes are carried out by drones, the AFU chief added.

Russia, as Syrsky emphasized, launches up to 5,000 drones daily at Ukrainian positions along the front line, as well as 1,500-2,000 drones dropping ammunition.

But Ukraine responds with the same number of UAVs, and even more, the AFU chief added.

"As for drones, there is roughly equality. Now we are using slightly more FPV drones than the Russians," Syrsky pointed out.
