Drones were launched from north-east Dublin.

On Monday, December 1, as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky traveled to Ireland, four unidentified military drones flew in the direction of his plane's flight path, violating a flight ban.

According to the Irish portal The Journal.

It is noted that four "military-type drones" reached a location near Dublin airport where a flight with Zelensky was due to fly over at around 23:00. The plane landed ahead of schedule, so missed the UAVs.

The drones then flew toward the Irish warship LÉ William Butler Yeats, which was secretly deployed near Dublin. The Irish Armed Forces decided not to shoot down the drones.

It was determined that the drones were launched from northeast Dublin, from where they flew for up to two hours. The publication notes that it is still unknown who launched them and for what purpose, as well as where the UAVs are now located.

"Irish security services have determined that the drones at Dublin airport were large, extremely expensive, military grade and that the incident can be classified as a hybrid attack," the piece said.

According to The Journal, an emergency meeting involving Ireland's top leadership was held after Tuesday's incident, and the plane carrying Zelensky took a special takeoff from Dublin to limit the risk of drone incidents.
