The summit will be held next year in Miami.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will be invited as guests to the G20 meeting in 2026. U.S. President Donald Trump wrote about it in Truth Social.
The summit will be held on December 14-15 next year in Miami. Trump announced the invitation after telephone talks with Presidents Kasym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
"We discussed the importance of bringing peace to the current conflicts and expanding trade and cooperation between our countries. Relations with both countries are excellent. Next year, the United States will host the G20 summit, and we will invite both leaders," the White House chief wrote.
The head of the U.S. State Department, Marco Rubio, noted in early December that the United States will host the G20 for the first time since 2009 - the year of the 250th anniversary of the creation of the American state. Three main themes of the event are announced: reducing regulation, expanding energy access and new technologies.
Rubio announced the presence at the summit not only of G20 leaders, but also of growing economies, in particular Poland, which, he said, "was locked behind the Iron Curtain, but is now among the 20 largest economies in the world."
