Political Prisoner Denis Ivashin Was Sent To A Punishment Cell

Political prisoner journalist Denis Ivashin has probably been sent to a detention center.

This his wife Olga reported.

Denis regularly receives letters, but his family has not received anything from him for 15 days.

"The most disappointing thing is that while we were happy to see other parties, our voyageur was (and probably still is) in Shiza," Olga writes.

We should remind that on September 14, 2022 the court in Hrodna sentenced Ivashin to 13 years and 1 month in a reinforced regime colony on charges of "illegal collection of information about private life" (Article 179 of the Criminal Code) and "treason against the state" (Part 1 of Article 356 of the Criminal Code).
