Peskov: Putin Is Ready To Talk To Macron

The Kremlin reacted to the French president's proposal.

Kremlin speaker Dmitri Peskov said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is ready to have a dialog with French President Emmanuel Macron.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to RIA "Novosti".

"He (Macron - ed.) said he is ready to talk to Putin. Here it is very important, perhaps, to remember what the president said at the direct line. He also expressed his readiness to dialog with Macron. So if there is a mutual political will, this can only be positively assessed," Peskov said.

We will recall that a couple of days ago, Emmanuel Macron said that Europe would have to find its own way to interact directly with Putin, rather than through the United States.
