On Saturday evening, an electric substation in Aksai, Rostov region, Russia, burst into flames, after which several settlements in the Aksai district lost electricity, heat and water supply, writes "Dialog.UA".

Frames of the burning facility were published in social networks.

The district administration confirmed the information about the power outage, saying it was caused by an "accident" on the overhead line-35. Due to the lack of electricity, water and heat supply in the Military Township neighborhood and water supply in Alekseevo were lost.

Russian authorities say there was a "technological disturbance on the network." A number of other communities may also be without electricity. According to them, 3 brigades have been sent to eliminate the breakage of the 35 kW power line.

At the same time, shortly before the incident, a warning about the threat of drone strikes was announced in the region.
