SBU Hit Two Russian Su-27 Aircraft At Belbek Airfield

The strike was carried out by long-range drones.

The Security Service of Ukraine has carried out a repeated successful attack on Belbek airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea and hit two Su-27 planes with drones, the Ukrainian security services said in a statement.

The strike was carried out by long-range drones of the Alpha Special Operations Center.

One of the planes was on the taxiway at the time of the attack with full ammunition and was ready for a combat flight, it was destroyed.

According to the SBU, the value of the affected planes is about 70 million US dollars.

The control tower was also confirmed to have been hit, which could complicate the organization and control of flights at the airfield.

The SBU reports that this is the second successful attack on Belbek in recent days.
