Belarus is also the main buyer of Russian lard, here comes about 80% of all Russian exports. Belarus received more than 10 thousand tons of this product for almost $15 million. Compared with last year, the supplies increased by 4% in volume and 29% in value terms.

In Russia, last year, meat consumption reached an absolute record - 82 kg per capita, according to Rosstat data. Recall that the consumption of ready-made meat products is growing in Belarus, while the consumption of raw meat has become less.
