Russian Federation Launched Ballistic Strikes On Odessa

Seven people died.

At least seven people were killed and 15 wounded in the Odessa region after another massive Russian Federation strike on the evening of Friday, December 19. Reports of the aftermath of the attack were confirmed by the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration (OMA), Oleh Kiper, in his Telegram channel.

The Russian strike hit "a port infrastructure facility in the Odessa district," unnamed by Kiper. According to the official, ballistic missiles were used during the attack . One of the consequences of the attack was a fire in the parking lot where trucks were parked. Emergency services are working but are hampered by the ongoing air alert in the region, Kiper said.

The deputy prime minister for Ukraine's reconstruction Alexei Kuleba also spoke about the aftermath of the attack. He confirmed that "trucks and equipment" had been damaged in the strikes. "The world should react accordingly and increase sanctions pressure on the aggressor country," Kuleba emphasized.
