Karol Nawrocki gave a history lesson.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki, a doctor of humanities in history, during a speech marking the 195th anniversary of the beginning of the November Uprising of 1830-1831, called for learning historical lessons and drew parallels with the present day.
An excerpt of Nawrocki's speech was published by the head of the Polish Presidential Chancellery Zbigniew Bogutski on social network X.
Nawrocki said it was a lesson for Poles.
"There are no agreements with the Muscals neither in the 19th century, nor in the 20th century, nor in the 21st century. There are only lies, the desire to take away the spirit and the thirst for destruction. This is a lesson that all of us should, distinguished gentlemen, learn," the Polish president said.
Z Moskalami nie ma żadnych porozumień. Tam jest tylko kłamstwo, chęć zabrania ducha i chęć zniszczenia‼️

The Revolt of 1830-1831 was a national liberation uprising against the rule of the Russian Empire in the territory of the Kingdom of Poland, Belarus, Lithuania, and Right-Bank Ukraine.
In Belarus and Lithuania, about 30 insurgent groups, numbering 12,000 people, operated. Among the insurgents were such people as Napoleon Orda, Ignacy Domeiko, Emilia Plater. The chairman of the Lithuanian Provisional Government was Tadeusz Tyszkiewicz - "Count at Logojsk and Berdichev".
In early August 1831, the rebellion was suppressed throughout Belarus. Many active rebels, including those from the territory of modern Belarus, left their homeland and later participated in the struggle for freedom in different countries of Europe.
