Rubio: NATO Is Much Stronger Now Than Ever Before

North Atlantic Alliance countries have increased spending on arms purchases.

NATO is much stronger now than it has ever been. This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

"NATO is a key defense alliance that provides stability on the European continent. We believe it is stronger now than ever," he said during a news conference.

The State Department chief linked the alliance's strengthening to higher defense spending and increased spending on arms purchases by NATO member states.
