Alexander Lukashenko told about the implementation of the investment tourist project in Oman during the "VNS," BelTA informs.

He said that by the decision of the Sultan of Oman, an area of more than 200 hectares had been allocated for the regime to implement a project to build tourist facilities.

- It's 40 minutes from the Emirates. There is a direct flight now (from Belarus to the UAE. - Note). We would add more if people would go there (and people will go if they have their own). And you know, he allocated us 200 hectares of land: I agree, build it," said Lukashenko.

He said that the design is currently underway, and in the coming years it is planned to start construction with the involvement of private investors.

- We are ready to start construction without attracting budget funds. But I'm even interested in the state investing in it, so that they could get part of the income," said Lukashenko.
