Media: Russian Spy Drone Detected In Turkey

A Russian reconnaissance drone has crashed in Turkey. It was found in a rural area, Haber 7 reports.

According to the publication, in the Izmit district, which is located in southern Turkey, local residents informed the authorities about the discovery of the drone.

Haber 7 writes that the drone was found in a field in a rural area. Following the report, gendarmerie units were sent to the site. An investigation into the drone crash has been launched.

According to preliminary information, it was a Russian Orlan reconnaissance drone. Such drones are used for reconnaissance purposes and do not contain explosives.
