They even forget to remove the AI Sora watermark.
Russian propagandists are trying to prove in any way possible that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky allegedly did not come to Kupyansk, Kharkiv Region, last week. For this purpose, in particular, they are creating a video generated by artificial intelligence.
This was reported on Friday, December 19, by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Andriy Kovalenko.
"Propagandists of [Russian dictator Vladimir] Putin have been tasked to lie en masse by all means that 'Zelensky was not in Kupyansk' and the city is under Russian control. It's incredibly funny because these idiots are using AI Sora and don't even remove the watermark. They create lies using AI to 'show artificial shooting', but in the most mediocre way possible," Kovalenko noted.
He stressed that as of December 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces control more than 90% of the city. The destruction of the Russian invaders in Kupyansk continues.
Kovalenko also commented on new statements by the Russian dictator.
"Putin, as the top of the IPSO (Information and Psychological Operation - Ed.) of the Russian Federation personally lies, but for some reason is afraid to show up anywhere near the front," the CPO head pointed out.
Kovalenko emphasized that Russia has no strategic victories on the battlefield, but lies to the US that it has them.
"This is all a battle for the Western infofield," he explained.
The head of the Central Intelligence Center under the National Security and Defense Council added that Ukraine is now winning in this information duel.
On December 19, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said during his direct line that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is "a talented actor."
"They say that the stele (at the entrance to Kupyansk - Ed.) looks different now. Well, why stand on the threshold, go inside, right? If Kupyansk is under their (Defense Forces - Ed.) control," the dictator said.
Zelensky came to Kupyansk direction on December 12. The Ukrainian leader recorded a video clip against the background of a broken stele at the entrance to the city.
The command of the Ukrainian National Guard's Khartiya Corps earlier reported "a successful operation to stabilize the situation in the Kupyansk direction."
