The US special envoy tasted it before his talks with Putin.
Special envoy of the US President Steve Whitkoff handed over to President Donald Trump a box of red caviar produced in the settlement of Chnyrrakh in the Nikolaevsky district of Khabarovsk Krai. This was reported in the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The caviar was produced at a local fish factory. Whitkoff first tasted the product during a lunch at Moscow's Savva restaurant before his talks with Putin. After that, he was presented with a box of caviar, which he delivered to Trump.
Reminder, on December 3, Russia and the United States held talks in the Kremlin. Putin received in the Kremlin Whitkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov and Presidential Special Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries Kirill Dmitriev were also present from the Russian side.
At the end of the talks, the sides failed to reach agreement on a compromise peace plan, in particular, the participants in the meeting did not resolve contradictions over the territorial issue.
