Ukrainian Delegation Travels To U.S. For Peace Plan Talks

There may be Europeans at the meeting.

A Ukrainian delegation has already traveled to the United States for talks on a peace plan. European partners may be present at the meeting.

As RBC-Ukraine reports, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this in response to a question from journalists.

"There are several questions about Donbass, about our position. I have already spoken about it several times. We all know Russia's position. They want a total takeover of Donbass, and now they want us to withdraw from Donbass. This was their position, it is open," Zelensky said.

The President noted that Ukraine is not ready for the relevant steps, so the US is looking for a compromise.

"To discuss this plan, 20 points, security guarantees, the agreement on reconstruction - all documents, all possible steps now the teams will meet. Friday through Saturday. Our team will be in the United States. It is on its way to the United States. The Americans are waiting for them. I don't know who else may attend. Maybe there will be Europeans," he said.
