The AFU fighters together with scouts destroyed a regiment of the Russian army and captured a significant number of occupants during joint assault operations in the Liman direction. The video was released online.
The Telegram channel of the Third Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this.
The operation was conducted by the Third Army Corps together with the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Reportedly, as a result of coordinated interaction, Ukrainian units managed to level the front line and improve the tactical situation in the combat area.
The AFU's actions limited the enemy's ability to maneuver and created prerequisites for further decisions on the direction.
The commander of the Third Army Corps, General Andrey Biletsky, noted that joint actions with the GSU had produced a tangible result.
"Together with the GSU, we have achieved an operational and tactical result in the Liman direction. This is a continuation of the tradition since the liberation of Moshchun and the breakthrough of helicopters to Mariupol - to give each other a brotherly shoulder. I am grateful for the exemplary cooperation," he said.
In turn, the commander of the special unit of the MIA GUR "ARTAN" Viktor Torkotyuk noted the role of the personnel.
"This is primarily the merit of the fighters and combat commanders who find solutions to any task," he emphasized.
