Zelensky: I Understand The Belarusian Language Very Well. I Didn't Even Think
Vladimir Zelensky

A video of the conversation of Belarusian political prisoners with the president of Ukraine has appeared.

A video of the conversation between Belarusian political prisoners and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has appeared.

The meeting was attended by six political prisoners released on December 13: Viktor Babariko, Maria Kolesnikova, Vladimir Labkovich, Maksim Znak, Marina Zolotova and Alexander Feduta.

"We support you. We can't imagine how incredibly difficult it is when you are at war, there is such a massive attack and aggression from Russia, how hard it is for you to cope with it and you still find a way to support us," Maria Kolesnikova said.

After her, Maxim Znak spoke to the Ukrainian president. He addressed in Belarusian and asked Zelensky if he could help solve the issue of documents, as political prisoners taken to Ukraine were left without passports.

"I understand the Belarusian language very well. I didn't even think so," Zelensky smiled and promised to address this problem together with the leadership of other countries.

Viktor Babariko asked how the released Belarusian political prisoners could help Ukraine.

Zelensky replied that the very first help is to use his influence among the Belarusian people to expand pro-Ukrainian sentiments in them and send appropriate signals. "Help as you can," he summarized.
