TWZ: Dark Eagle Hypersonic Missile Can Fly From London To Moscow

The U.S. has stationed one of the Dark Eagles in Guam.

The hypersonic missile of the American Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) complex, named Dark Eagle, is capable of flying from London to Moscow. About it writes TWZ with reference to Lieutenant General of the U.S. Armed Forces Francisco Lozano.

According to the serviceman, the maximum range of LRHW is 3,500 kilometers. At the same time, U.S. military officials initially reported a range of about 2,700 kilometers.

Lozano said the U.S. has deployed one of the Dark Eagles in Guam. From there, the missile could reach China, he emphasized.

"He also said the missile could strike Moscow from London and Tehran from Qatar," the publication noted.

The LRHW complex began to be developed in 2019. Its first prototype was handed over to the US Armed Forces two years later. The system consists of a launcher, a launch vehicle and a Common Hypersonic Glide Body hypersonic unit.
